I am a self-taught painter and poet. I work with ink on a canvas stretched horizontally on the ground, painting directly with my hands. Over the years, I have developed a practice that I call abstract animistic expressionism. I begin each work without a predetermined composition, allowing forms to emerge through instinct and chance.

By pouring and throwing water and ink onto the canvas with different kinds of shells, I engage in a dialogue with the uncontrollable and explore my inner world and subconscious. The painting evolves through this interaction between chance and response.

The intuitive and dynamic painting sessions are followed by periods of deep reflection on the forms and feelings on the canvas, sometimes lasting several hours, and by further minor interventions through which I highlight certain forms using tree bark as a pen.

Across both my literary and visual work, I engage with themes of the sorrows of existence, the human condition, grief, and the interplay between conscious and subconscious states.
