My method echoes the tradition of abstract expressionism, recalling artists like Helen Frankenthaler who poured pigment freely and honored the medium’s natural flow. Yet, my approach encompasses eruptive and instinctive emotional expression, is influenced by movements from Aikido, and has animistic aspects. Through dynamic throws of color and water, I create a controlled chaos together with the active presence of the water and plants as subjects, experience the tension between destruction and creation, and follow my instincts. The emotional intensity of the painting process makes me explore emotional and dramatic depths and transcendent moments, through which the boundaries between my consciousness and subconsciousness as well as shapes and movements get blurred.
