LIVE ANIMISTIC PAINTING TO MUSICAL EVOCATIONS

Inspired by Vardar’s poem of the same title, the performance unfolds through live painting with ink, water, and metaphorical objects designed for the performance, in interaction with a carefully curated composition of ethnic, avant-garde, and contemporary pieces.

It explores the desire to be seen, and to see and love like a butterfly, while remaining bound to the human condition.

BETON

CONCRETE – a brutal material.
Raw, massive, and yet fragile.
Made of fine sand, cement, and water – still ominous, cold, and overwhelming.
In our live performance, we explore the tensions of concrete: between resistance and decay, between flowing movement and massive form, between rough surface and fine sand within.
